Destruction and Doom of __________

Do you know that feeling when you just want to torture the characters you have made? Well, I'm feeling that now. For some reason, I had this certain character in mind which I just want to destroy inside and out. It's like I'm tempted to rip her guts out and feed it to the hellhounds. I'm tempted to throw her away in the corner of the earths so that no one would ever see her again. I want this certain character to be humiliated one way or another... but if I do that again, I fear that she'll become a Mary Sue.

So, what do you think? Should I destroy this certain character (who most of you who follow my blog know about) or should I make her life happy?

Tis your opinion which I shall listen to.

Depends, dear. It depends. As you are the creator, you know your character, you know her and you know every single little thing about her you refused to share it to anyone. Everything. Do you think she has participated to the fullest in her life? Do you think a part of her hasn't completed? Do you want to bring her out of her misery? Do you want her to live in misery all over? Do you want to strongly proved your point through this character through her suffering? Do you want to let her suffer what you have? Or are you simply tired of her? You are the author, you choose her destiny.

I agree with what Jamie said. It's honestly up to you whether you destroy a character from inside out. I mean, I've sort of done that (you know with who).

People can destroy characters in the most horrific but beautiful way, making you sympathise for that character. Or they completely butcher them. But yes, it's up to you. No one can make that choice. But I think you've got enough talent to make it horrifically beautiful. But that's only if you want to take that path.
